Visiting restrictions remain in place at the psychiatric unit at University Hospital Limerick.
The ban has been put in place in Unit 5B due to two confirmed cases of the winter vomiting bug.
The HSE Mid West says all infection control measures are in place to tackle the outbreak of Norovirus. They say the situation is improving with less affected patients.
