University Hospital Limerick most overcrowded in the country today

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded in the country this afternoon.

Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that 29 people are without a proper bed at the Dooradoyle facility, with the next highest figure at Cork University Hospital with 15.

Nationally, there are 82 patients being treated on trolleys, none of whom are at South Tipperary General or Nenagh General Hospitals.
