Trolley numbers fall in Tipp region

According to latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Association there are 32 patients being cared for on trolleys in Emergency Departments or in overflow areas of wards today.

This is half the numbers recorded yesterday at South Tipp General and University Hospital Limerick.

Nationally the situation has improved as well with 207 patients waiting for a bed on a ward – down from 271 on Thursday.
