Tipperary Town is attempting to reach Gold Star status when it comes to disability awareness and universal access.
The aim of the Gold Star Project, which was initiated by the HSE, is to encourage all businesses and service providers to strive towards achieving universal access for all customers, including those with a disability.
Cashel was the first town in Tipperary to achieve Gold Star status.
