Tipperary native thought to have fallen from Cliffs of Moher

The alarm was raised on Monday afternoon after a bag with some personal property was discovered by tourists on the cliff edge at the southern end of the Cliffs of Moher.

Gardaí later discovered car which has been traced to a Tipperary man in his 30's who has been living in Clare.

Both land and sea searches have been carried out with the assistance of the Kilkee and Doolin Coast Guard units.
