Four Tipperary students have been shortlisted in a competition to have their doodles displayed on Google's home page.

75 Irish students are now in with a chance of winning, including four from Tipperary: Amy Quinn from Dundrum, Lauren Franklin from Lattin, Evan Kiely and Gabriella Pieczarka both from Clonmel.

The finalists will now battle it out in a public vote, with the top 5 then being sent forward to be chosen by Google's professional doodlers.

All entries can be seen and voted for on www.google.com/doodleforgoogle.
