Tipperary County Council looking for proposals to address housing needs in the county

The local authority's housing section is seeking Approved Housing Bodies within the county to apply to provide accommodation with priority given to smaller projects of up to 10 units

This Call for Proposals from Tipperary County Council is aimed at addressing the housing needs of homeless people, older persons and people with a disability.

The Approved Housing Bodies, or AHB's, are being invited identify suitable properties or sites and complete a preliminary appraisal with sufficient information for the council to assess the project.

Any of the bodies that apply for the scheme must show evidence of compliance with the Voluntary Regulation Code administered by the Housing Agency as only those bodies who have signed up to the Code will be eligible for funding.

Priority will be given to smaller projects of up to 10 units.

The forms for application are available on the Tipperary County Council website or are available from the housing section of the local authority.
