Many routes have been left badly impacted by the adverse weather conditions since Christmas with a severe lack of monies to deal with all the problem areas due to a cut in the government allocation.
Mayors Ger Darcy and Jimmy O'Brien along with a number of council officials will travel to meet with Minister Leo Varadker on May 14th to discuss this.
Independent Mullinahone Councillor Eddie O'Meara who put forward the motion says any monies released will have to be pumped into local roads.
