Tipperary Company denies operating illegally

Yesterday the Central Bank issued a warning stating that Smart Resolution Mediation Limited isn't authorised to operate as a debt managment firm and to do so without its approval was a criminal offence.

The company which is based on Canopy Street in Cashel insists it does not manage people's money and while it's applied for debt resolution services, it's currrently not involved in the practice.

Director Geraldine Quigley says they will be taking legal action against the Central Bank and will fight them all the way in the courts.
