Tipperary attractions still proving popular for visitors.

 

The Guinness Storehouse remains the most popular tourist attraction in Ireland, according to new figures out this morning.

Almost 1.1 million people visited the brewery last year, according to figures published by Failte Ireland.

Dublin Zoo also saw over a million visitors, while the Cliffs of Moher was the most popular attraction outside Dublin.

The Rock of Cashel drew over 240,000 visitors last year.

The National Gallery is the most popular free attraction, with 660,000 visitors last year while Holy Cross Abbey attracted 240,000 making it the 9th most popular free site in 2012.
