Tipperary MABS & CIS staff to have their say

All stakeholders in the Money Advice and Budgeting Service and Citizens Information Service offices in Tipperary will have an opportunity to discuss the future of their services.

Currently there are 94 separate boards running the two bodies across the country.

The Citizens Information Board which oversees both bodies is planning on streamlining the operation to 16 boards split evenly between MABS and CIS.

A series of regional meetings are taking place with the one for Tipperary, Waterford, Limerick and Clare being held at Ballykisteen Hotel in Limerick Junction this afternoon and evening.

CEO of the Citizens Information Board Angela Black says she is determined to hear the views of staff, management, volunteers and administrators in Tipperary.
