Warm tributes have been paid to a long standing senior Tipp County Council official who retires today.
Aiden Fennessy has served on the local authority for the past 44 years most recently in the role as senior executive officer in the Housing Department.
The Clonmel native began his career in the old Dublin Corporation before returning to The Premier.
Leading tributes at today’s meeting of Tipp County Council Cathaoirleach Siobhan Ambrose said the occasion had to be marked as Mr Fennessy worked tirelessly for the authority – was extremely professional – and would be missed by all.
