Though, the street’s businesses will remain open for festive shoppers to get Black Friday deals.
The works for the new plaza at the town hall hit a delay earlier in the week when a gas main was struck by workers on site.
Director for Services at Tipperary County Council, Pat Slattery reassured shoppers that the street was still open for business.
