Tipp GP seeks support for political party development

Dr David Janes is a member of the political party Direct Democracy Ireland which believes that the people should have a more direct say in the running of the country including allowing citizens to petition for referendums on issues to sacking of non performing politicians.

It's running information pop up shops in Cahir and Carrick on Suir today in an effort to boost the party's numbers and may run Tipp candidates in future elections.

Speaking on Tipp Today with Fran Curry – Dr Janes – whose surgery is based in Ballymacarbry says you only have to look at the situation with the hospital in Clonmel to know the current system of political governance isn't working stating that 3 midwives left their posts this week alone.
