Tipp Gardaí say death toll on roads still too high

So far in 2015, four people have lost their lives on Tipperary's roads.

The total for last year was 15.

Tipperary Gardaí are in the midst of their Christmas road safety campaign with additional checkpoints mounted across the county targeting speed, drink driving, the wearing of seatbelts and mobile phone usage.

Garda Regina McCarthy is part of Thurles Traffic Corps and says there are still too many fatal collisions on the county's roads.
