The monitoring group says of those killed in the last eight months alone – 677 were under the age of 18.
It comes as the country's government opened so called humanitarian corridors out of the city of Aleppo yesterday.

300,000 citizens have been trapped in the city for months – however Russia says just under 170 people availed of the safe passageways.
