Taoisaech brands Banking Inquiry question as ridiculous

Enda Kenny's told the inquiry that the previous government had allowed Ireland to become “bloated, over-borrowed and uncompetitive”.

The inquiry's heard from the current government this morning, to discuss the policies they put forward while in opposition.

But Mr Kenny says the mismanagement of Fianna Fáil is the reason why Ireland's people suffered so badly.

Enda Kenny also told the inquiry that says Fine Gael's policies in opposition were NEVER influenced by its donors.

He says people who paid to attend Fine Gael golfing events didn't get to have any say in the party's eventual policies and was never in the business for looking for hospitality or transport from a donor – down to getting a lift and branded this question as ridiculous
