People in Roscrea are being warned about a scam which is currently back targeting people in the area.
Gardai say a number of homes in the town have been contacted over recent days, by people claiming to be from Microsoft, informing them of a problem with their computer.
They then ask you to access your computer for a number of codes, which then enables them to get information, which could lead them to accessing any bank details online.
The scam was in operation country wide earlier this year, but Gardai in Roscrea say its now back.
They are advising anyone who receives such a call, to hang up and never give such information over the phone.
