Runway extension planned for Waterford Airport

A maximum of 42.5 million euro will be made available to the airports at Waterford, Kerry, Knock and Donegal over the next four years from Central Government.

Minister for Transport Paschal Donohoe said that the approval of the investment scheme will help the regional airports to become financially viable in the future.

The CEO of Waterford Airport Desmond Flynn says plans are in place to improve services there.
