There are calls for adequate lighting on the Mill Road in Thurles
A footpath extension is also being sought from The Glebe housing estate as far as Kickham Park.
The area in question is within both the town boundary and the 50kph speed limit zone.
Councillor Jim Ryan says it’s dangerous for pedestrians currently.
