The clean up will continue today, after a day of spot flooding around the country yesterday.
Persistent heavy rain overnight Saturday saw a number of areas hit by spot flooding yesterday.
In Tipperary a number of roads remained closed overnight.
The old N7 Nenagh Toomevara Rd is closed due to flooding at Islandbawn outside Nenagh, near to the M7
at J24 Toomevara.
Motorists are advised to use the Thurles Rd or Dolla Rd to travel between the M7 and Nenagh town centre.
The Limerick Rd outside Newport remains closed just outside the town due to flooding.
The local Newport/Murroe Rd is also closed.
And the Birdhill/Ballina Rd (R494) also remains closed due to flooding.
