The demonstration is a reaction to the situation at a housing complex in Tyrrelstown in which a number of tenants have been informed they must either buy their property or move out.
The action group is calling on the new government to implement a protocol to help tenants facing eviction. They also want written assurance that they won't be evicted until they have found new accommodation.
Sinn Fein Councillor Paul Donnelly says the Tyrrelstown protest highlights the reality faced by tenants across the country.
