A legal case being taken against two Tipperary companies is up for mention at the High Court today.
The Central Bank sought and was granted enforcement orders against Smart Resolution Mediation Ltd and Clonmel C&R Management Ltd to prevent them from providing debt management services.
The action stemmed from a warning issued by the financial body last August in which it stated Smart Resolution wasn't authorised to operate as a debt management firm.
The matter was due before the High Court last week but proceedings were adjourned until today.
