One of the six confirmed candidates for the Fine Gael selection convention in Tipperary says she will bring a fresh voice to the table.
Traditionally the route to standing in a General Election has been through the local council.
However Cashel based accountant Shelagh Marshall says while she may not have served her apprenticeship in this way she is not a novice to politics.
She has worked as a strategist in Fine Gael election campaigns and is also a former PRO for the party in South Tipp.
Shelagh says she will bring other dimensions to the selection contest.
