The station is holding the event from 2 to 5 tomorrow afternoon…Gardaí from the Public Order Unit, the dog unit and Crime Prevention will be there while there will be plenty of activities for children to learn about what the Gardaí do.
The aim of the afternoon is to strengthen ties between Gardaí and the local community…the issue of Garda numbers, particularly in rural areas has been in the spotlight recently with an increase in burglaries.
