New speed limit bye laws to go on public display

A review of speed limits in Tipperary will go on public display next week.

The draft bye laws, which cover all 5 thousand kilometres of roads across the Premier, will be available in all county council offices and online for a month until the 19th November.

Included in the proposals is to reduce the speed limits in all housing estates to 30 kilometres an hour

Head of the roads section with the local authority, Marcus O'Connor, says members of the public can make submissions on the plans
