New reports on Olympic ticket scandal

The Olympic Council of Ireland is back in the spotlight as two new reports emerge after the summer Games scandal.

One report covers the council's governance while the other will focus on the sale of Rio tickets.

The Olympic Council of Ireland says it has not seen and will not see a report into Rio ticketing arrangements.

Grant Thornton is conducting its independent review into the sale of tickets at the Olympics – the report will then be sealed and sent to Judge Carroll Moran to form part of his non-statutory inquiry.

It's expected that the completed report will be with Judge Moran by the 15th of November.

Meanwhile a Deloitte report into the OCI's governance was circulated to committee members yesterday evening.

It will be reviewed over the coming days and Deloitte will then finalise and publish the report.
