New pilots get Air Corps wings

The 32nd Air Corps Cadet Class will receive their Military Pilots Wings and Presidential Commissions at a special ceremony and air-show at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel in Dublin this afternoon.  

Ireland's 'top guns' of the future come from Cork, Galway, Meath, Wexford, Dublin, and all over Ireland.

Commandant Frank Byrne is the 'Officer Commanding' at the Flying Training School – he say the nine young officers have successfully completed nearly three years of intensive military and flying training:
