The N62 into both Tipperary towns are in need of repair works, however neither route is on the priority listing for Transport Infrastructure Ireland who have responsibility for all national roads.
The issue has been raised several times over recent months at council meetings, but no progress has been made.
Local Fianna Fail Councillor Michael Smith says it's very frustrating.
