Monies allocated for road safety projects in Cahir – Clonmel area.

Traffic calming measures will take place in Ardfinnan village, at Clogharden near Grange and at the junction of Curragleigh East in Ballyporeen under the Low Cost Accident Scheme.

The initiative allows for work to be carried out at locations with a treatable problem and a proven accident history.

Mayor of the Cahir-Clonmel Borough District, Independent Councillor Martin Lonergan has welcomed the news saying that while they won't have enough money in the budget to address all the road problems in the area, they will do the best with what they have.
