They uncovered drugs which pending analysis have a street value of around €850,000.

The haul includes heroin and cocaine.

One person was arrested – the man in his 40s is being held at Thurles Garda station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act

This is the biggest seizure in the Tipperary Division this year and one of the largest in recent years.

It is part of ongoing efforts by Tipperary Gardaí to combat illegal drug use in the county.
