People from North Tipperary attending the Emergency Department at UHL can expect lengthy delays this afternoon.

University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded in the country today according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

The nursing union reports 42 people without a bed there.

At South Tipp General in Clonmel things have eased slightly in the last 24 hours, though there are still 18 patients being cared for on trolleys.
