The driver of a truck has been hospitalised following a crash on the M7 near Roscrea overnight.
The lorry overturned in the incident which happened shortly after 1.30 this morning.
The mans injuries are not thought to be serious.
As a result of the crash the M7 is closed Northbound between Junction 23 Moneygall and Junction 22 Roscrea.
Gardai say the motorway is likely to remain closed for the next 3 hours or so while the truck is being removed.
