It has emerged this morning that the ticket holder who has already come forward made the winning purchase at Easons in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre, in Carlow.
The jackpot is the third biggest Euro Millions win for Ireland, and is the country’s eighth since the European wide lottery was first launched in 2004.
