Subprime lender Vivier Mortgages Ltd is seeking a High Court order to grant it possession of the family home near Cashel.
Patrick and Christine Cummins of Hills Lot, Rosegreen, Cashel are opposing the application.
Vivier wants the High Court to re-enter a repossession order it had obtained in 2007.
The lender claims the Cummins’ have made just 8 out of 158 payments on the loan with none since 2011.
Mr Justice Keane has reserved his decision with the case due for mention later this month.
