ISPCA rescue dogs in South Tipperary

The animals were found living in horrific conditions without access to food, shelter or water at a property in the South of the county last month – they were surrendered to the ISPCA and removed immediately.

A heavily pregnant German shepherd was among the rescued animals – she has since given birth to six puppies at the ISPCA National Animal Centre.

ISPCA Inspector Alice Lacey who was involved in the rescue says the conditions the dogs were being kept in were awful.
