Westway Health has just received ¬ 50,000 from the EU under the Horizon 2020 programme to develop the World's first non-antibiotic therapy for treating the problem.
Mastitis is caused when bacteria enters a Cow's udder and can infect an entire milk yield resulting in financial losses for a farmer.
