A man in his 20s remains in Garda custody this morning in connection with a hit-and-run in Dublin on Monday, in which a toddler was killed.
The 2-year-old girl was knocked down on the North Road in the Phoenix Park at around half six on Monday evening
She died yesterday morning at Temple Street Children's Hospital.
The 24-year-old man, who was arrested shortly after the incident, is still being questioned at Blanchardstown garda station.
Gardai have appealed for information from anyone who may have seen a 02 D registered green Toyota Corolla, driving near the Visitors Centre in the Phoenix Park before the crash.
