Investigation into Carlow death continues.

Two men being questioned over the death of a man in Carlow have had their periods of detention extended.

The body of 41 year old Gints Intembergs, who was originally from Latvia, was discovered at a house in the Graigowen estate in Tullow yesterday morning.

Although Gardai believe he was violently attacked on Monday night, they're awaiting the results of a post mortem examination to determine his cause of death.

A second man, who's also Latvian, and who was found injured in the house is being treated at St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny.
