Hunt for France match tickets underway

The FAI says the tickets, which went on sale at 1pm, will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

The Football Association of Ireland is currently in negotiations with UEFA to try and secure additional tickets.

Meanwhile,

The Minister for Sport says he would like to see Ireland's match against France on Sunday broadcast live on a big screen in Dublin City Centre.

It follows calls for appropriate facilities to be provided to allow families enjoy the game in a safe, alcohol free and atmospheric way. 

Minister Shane Ross says it would be a great gesture if one of the Dublin local authorities opened a fanzone where people could watch Sunday's match:
