All obstacles to the roll-out of Jigsaw mental health programme for Tipperary have apparently been overcome.

The new services, based out of Thurles with outreach hubs in Nenagh and Clonmel, had originally been earmarked to open late last year and early this year.

It emerged in recent weeks that this was further delayed.

However Deputy Michael Lowry told Tipp FM news this morning that there is some positive news with a building secured in Thurles which will now be refurbished. Recruitment is to start shortly with the facility expected to be open before the end of March next year.
