Ongoing hospital overcrowding problems

Tipperary people can expect a delay today if they’re attending either of the Emergency Departments serving the county.

University Hospital Limerick is again the most overcrowded hospital in the country – with 43 people in need of a bed.

South Tipp General also has 22 people on trolleys in the Emergency Department and in overflow areas of wards.

According to the INMO, there are 393 patients waiting for a bed across the country this lunchtime.
