It’s claimed transferring patients from Limerick to Nenagh is effectively accepting that the “Centre of Excellence” at UHL has failed.

Tipperary Fianna Fáil general election candidate Sandra Farrell was commenting on proposals to move patients who have been in the Limerick hospital for more than 30 days but no longer require urgent care.

She says this doesn’t make sense and is not making best use of Nenagh Hospital.
