Hospitals serving Tipp remain majorly overcrowded

There are nearly 90 people being cared for on trolleys today at the main hospitals serving Tipperary.

They are among 534 patients waiting for beds in hospitals across the country today.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation the worst hit hospital with 45 people waiting is University Hospital Limerick which caters for North Tipperary.

South Tipp General in Clonmel has 41 people without a bed today.
