Close on 100 patients without a bed at UHL

The numbers on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick are once again approaching treble figures.

In all 497 people are without a bed in hospitals around the country.

INMO figures show UHL is the worst affected by overcrowding, with 98 patients on trolleys.

5 people who have been admitted to Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel are being cared for on trolleys in the Emergency Department.
