500 patients without a bed at Irish hospitals today

UHL accounts for almost one fifth of the patients being cared for on trolleys in Irish hospitals today.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says 93 people who have been admitted to the Limerick facility are without a bed.

In all there are 500 people in this situation across the country including 11 at TUH in Clonmel.

There is no overcrowding at Nenagh Hospital today according to the nursing union.
