Coláiste Phobal Roscrea took the prize for the Secondary School of the year in the Southern Region.
They worked on raising awareness of water conservation throughout the school with a series of school competitions and action days.
Coláiste Dún Iascaigh student John Carey won the Green-Schools Irish Water poster competition for the region while Leanne Donegan and Constance Quinlan of the Ursuline Secondary in Thurles have been named as new Water Ambassadors.
The awards are now in their third year and recognise the dedication and innovation shown by schools that have been working on the Water theme and are receiving the Green Flag award for Water this year.
