Gardaí appeal for information on yesterday’s tiger kidnapping in West Dublin

It's believed the man, who's a cash in transit employee, was made deliver at least €200,000 to the three-man gang.

The incident caused a major security alert at Dublin Airport.

The family weren't physically hurt during the incident but are said to be traumatised – and the trade union SIPTU who represents cash-in-transit workers, is now calling for specialist kidnap training for workers.
