A major search operation is resuming this morning for Daniel – or Danny – Gerrard who was last seen in the early hours of Monday morning.
The Carrick on Suir River Rescue Team and the Waterford based Irish Coastguard helicopter were involved in the search for the 23 year old yesterday.
Danny is 6 foot tall, of lean build with short brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen he was wearing a blue hooded top, grey tracksuit bottoms and grey runners.
Superintendent Willie Leahy of Clonmel Garda Station says they have been carrying out house to house inquiries in the area where he was last seen.
