Emergency services were called out in response to an incident in Carrick-on-suir this afternoon (Friday).
Gardai and the ambulance services were dispatched to the scene in the south Tipperary town at around 2pm.
At least one person is understood to have been injured.
Gardai say that they can not release any details at this stage but have confirmed that the incident is no longer ongoing.
